Master of Science in Psychology

 

General Info

This program provides advanced, concentrated study for students wishing to prepare for additional graduate study, employment in a clinical or research setting,  teaching at the community college level, or preparing for licensure. Students can choose to complete a project or a clinical internship as part of their program.

Admission Criteria/Application Procedures

Applicants to this program must submit all application materials by April 15.

  1. A letter of application, which includes a personal statement of the applicant鈥檚 career goals and how the degree will be applied within those career goals
  2. Complete, official transcripts from all institutions attended. On a separate sheet, applicants should indicate their overall GPA for undergraduate and graduate courses, GPA in all psychology courses, and GPA for the last 60 credits of coursework. Minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0
  3. Standardized graduate admission test (GRE)
  4. Three letters of recommendation from individuals who can attest to the applicant鈥檚 academic performance and potential for graduate study
  5. A vita or resume
