The Jacket Student Ambassador program is a paid work study position in the Office of 麻豆官网首页入口免费 that offers 麻豆官网首页入口免费 students an opportunity to represent and promote MSUB to prospective students and their families.

Duties

  • Help answer phone calls and emails for a busy office.
  • Maintain the information desk.
  • Socialize with incoming students, parents and guests.
  • Help answer questions for campus vistors and guests.
  • Help with daily mailings to prospective students.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Be currently enrolled at MSUB or City College.
  • Be enrolled for 12 or more credits.
  • Earned at least a 3.0 GPA.
  • Have federal financial aid work study.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Skills with using a computer.
  • A cooperative and positive attitude!
  • Enthusiasm for MSUB!

Responsibilities 

1. Outreach with prospective students

Ambassadors will engage with prospective students by phone, mail, email, text, social media, and assisting with personal visits. The purpose of these contacts is to gather student information, answer questions, assist them to enroll at MSUB and help guide them on their educational journey. 

2. Campus Tours 

Ambassadors will occassionally play role in helping students get familiar with the campus through campus tours or guiding students to other departments.

3. Recruitment Activities 

 Participate in activities to help prospective students learn about and enroll at MSUB. Some of these activities include Preview Days, Orientations, Fall Kickoff, Welcome Week activities, and more. Help with set-up and tear down for recruitment events.

4. Information Desk  

Ambassadors help staff the MSU Billings Information Desk. This includes directing campus visitors, answering phones and assisting with general questions.
